01. Attendance

Order and timeliness are important values that should be learned in the educational process. Being on time is necessary for students who are being taught to perform tasks in an efficient and organized manner. To achieve a good scholarship, regular attendance is important.

Parents can assist AIMS in the teaching of these values by making every effort to help their children arrive at school on time for the flag-raising ceremony each morning. At 7:50 AM, the teacher-on-duty will be at the school entrance to greet the children and help the younger ones get to their places for the flag-raising ceremony.

Please note the following:

    • Flag raising will be at 8:15 AM.
    • Classes will be from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, Monday – Thursday.
    • Friday classes will be from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

These times include all classes, preparatory center, kindergarten classes 1, 2, 3 and grades 1-12.  We request that you pick up your children on time. On Fridays, teachers generally leave at 3:00 PM.

Students should not arrive at school before 7:50 AM. AIMS cannot assume responsibility for students prior to that time.

    02. Standards and Conduct

    The teachers and administrators of AIMS have set high standards to enhance the growth and maturity of our young people. By establishing rules and regulations we set clear guidelines for the students. These guidelines provide a secure environment in which the children can learn and realize their potential.

    At AIMS the student is expected to:

      • Respect God and His word;
      • Respect and obey those in authority;
      • Respect the rights of others;
      • Maintain high standards of courtesy, morality, and honesty;
      • Always strive to do his/her best.

    Please note the following AIMs standards:

    Playing cards of any kind, mobile phones, electronic games (iPod, PlayStation, computer games, etc.), CD players, Harry Potter books, or other Harry Potter paraphernalia are not allowed in school. AIMS will provide games for the children in their respective classrooms and the library.

    03. Uniforms

    Below are the guidelines for uniform:

      • All students are expected to wear their prescribed school uniform to class every school day.
      • Black shoes with black socks (boys) or white socks (boys and girls) are to be worn.
      • Prescribed P.E. uniform is required for P.E. classes.
      • Caps and hats are not to be worn at school.
      • Extreme, faddish or dyed hairstyles may not be worn at AIMS.
      • Nail polish is not to be worn; makeup, face or hair glitter or paint, body stickers and tattoos are not allow.

    Jewerly may not be worn in class or on the school premises. This includes earrings, bracelets, aklets, and necklaces; very small, inconspicuous stud earrings may be worn to preserve pierced ears. If you have questions regarding this matter, please contact the school secretary or the administrator.
