Our Story
Where We Started
In 1990 Mrs. Canady established the English Elementary School. This school was established for the education of children of the (formerly Mission College) faculty and staff. The Far Eastern Division and Asia-Pacific International
In 1999, the Muaklek church, under the leadership of Pastor Wendel Wilcox, established the Mission Kindergarten School for the children of workers of Asia-Pacific International University. On May 17, 2000, the Mission Kindergarten School was registered with the Saraburi Education Department.
In May 2000 the two schools were combined and the process for the government license for the school was initiated. The newly merged school, Adventist International Mission School (AIMS), would serve the children of Asia-Pacific International University personnel and the children in the Muaklek community who wanted their children to participate in a Christian International education program. The government license was issued May 2002.
The English Elementary School was originally located in a room in the Asia-Pacific International University administration building. In 1999 it was relocated to a vacated residential duplex. The Day Care Center was located in a vacated apartment building in the same vicinity. In 2003 the already merged schools, now Adventist International Mission School moved to the newly built school building in front of Asia Pacific International University (Mission College).
